IDS develops a large range of specialist software. The following are examples of projects currently underway:
IDS is developing a large line of business application for one of New Zealand's largest primary producers. The software tracks product from sale through to delivery to their customers. It interfaces with automated plant equipment and tracks all inventory in store at fifteen seperate locations. It interfaces with shipping and customs systems, financial and foreign exchange systems and provides full management reporting. The project is one of the largest of its kind in New Zealand.
IDS is writing software to integrate a number of different software systems for one of New Zealand’s biggest container port companies. The project involves a number of systems including data-warehousing and scheduling systems.
IDS is developing ontology software for a genetic research company and integrating this with web technology for global access.
